Be sure to pick a sprite with skills that will help the character you want to play. Guardian sprite always have the additional skill Salvage.
See the Gathering and Crafting section for more details.
Evolution[]
The guardian sprite starts as a simple blob-head that will roll and jump around, but as your character levels up and the guardian sprite's experience bar grows, it can evolve and grow up to 3 times.
When your character reaches level 21 and your guardian sprite's experience bar is full, you can speak with Yobelia in Ilya to begin the first evolution process through the quests Sprite's Whisper and Chance for Evolution. After that, the sprite evolves and gains a body.

After that, the sprite evolves and gains magical sparkles around it.
Sprite Interface[]
The sprite interface is where most interaction with your sprites will occur.
Sprite Tab[]
The sprite tab displays your sprite's virtual home, complete with the costumes and furniture equipped on the details tab.
An icon representing your sprite's mood appears in the upper right. If a sprite is happy or ecstatic, you can summon it to your side! Summoned sprites love to be helpful, and will carefully pick up treasure from monsters you kill. If a sprite is feeling sad, try clicking Chat to cheer them up.
- Sad: Your sprite will gain experience at a slightly decreased rate.
- Normal: Your sprite will operate at normal experience and productivity levels.
- Happy: Your sprite will gain experience at a slightly increased rate.
- Elated: Your sprite will gain experience at a significantly increased rate.
Sprites can only perform one task at a time. While crafting, they work at their Worktable. When busy gathering, they will put up a signboard in their interface as a reminder.
Sprites can turn clay into fantastic items! See the Sprite Alchemy page for more details.
Details Tab[]
The details tab shows sprite statistics as well as equipped items.
The three stars represent the evolution stages of your sprite, and the bar next to it represents the sprite's experience. Sprites gain experience from performing tasks.
The Relationship bar represents the strength of the bond between you and your sprite. It increases or decreases during sprite events. With a relationships over 500 will give you the lowest possible gathering and crafting price from sprites.
The Stamina bar is the sprite's overall energy. A sprite that is out of stamina can't perform tasks for you. It increases slowly and decreases whenever it does a task and when it's outside with you.
The gathering and crafting skill levels show how advanced each of the sprite's skills are, and how much progress they've made toward the next skill level.
Sprites can have several different items equipped. Some make them happy, while others provide bonuses to the player!
Sprites can wear hats and clothes, though clothes require evolution stage 2 or higher.
Sprites have 2 slots for Emblem cards. These provide various benefits, depending on the card.
There are 3 sprite furniture slots: Front Left, Back Left, and Worktable. A worktable is required for crafting.
Duel Tab[]
The duel tab, available only to your guardian sprite, shows your sprite's battle information. See the Sprite Battles section for more details.
The Battle Commands area shows your guardian sprite's attacks and defenses along with their corresponding levels. The higher the attack level, the more damage it does. A higher defense lowers the damage done by your opponent. Their levels increase by using those commands and by having them used on you.
The Sprite Combat Record area shows your guardian sprite's wins, losses, KOs, and win percentage. Below that you can customize your Sprite's Victory Message. The message can be up to 30 characters. Click Set Msg to finalize it.
The Join and Exit buttons allow you to place your guardian sprite in the battle queue or remove it from it.
The Lucky Star button opens the Lucky Star Interface for placing bets in the lottery.
Gathering and Crafting[]
Sprites can have up to a combination of 4 crafting and gathering skills. Most of the items your sprite can gather are useful as raw materials for crafting. If your sprite can craft items, it can usually gather the materials it needs for crafting.
- Mining: Put your sprite to work digging up ore and gemstones.
- Foraging: Send your sprite to gather various types of herbs and plantlife.
- Hunting: Train your sprite to bring back fine furs and animal skins.
Your guardian sprite and some advanced wild sprites also have the ability to salvage magical items into their base components.
The details tab shows your sprite's skill EXP. When it reaches 100%, your sprite gains a new skill level! As your sprite gets higher skill levels, it will be able to both craft and gather better items, including rare goodies.
Training your sprite lets them gain skill EXP without going out into the wilderness. Training is much quicker than gathering, but it requires intense study from the sprite. They need the subject matter at hand in order to learn!
While sprites are working diligently at their tasks, there is a chance that they will come back with a Sprite Event! These events can have multiple possible outcomes too. They can affect your sprite's mood and relationship, and they might even bring you presents that they've found!
Wild Sprites[]

Monsters may drop powerful artifacts, including magical instruments that can summon wild sprites. Corrupt sprites can only be obtained from Dark Sprites or boss monster drops.
The balance of nature has slowly been recovering as sprite messengers carefully cultivate their bonds with the wild sprites. Every sprite returned to nature makes the darkness retreat a little more. You can return your wild sprites to nature at the altars of the sprite kings. If you have taken good care of your wild sprite you can build up your reputation with the sprite kings and purchase fantastic reputation items!
Sprite Kings' Altars[]
Main article: Sprite King's Altar
A Sprite King's Reputation can be gained at each sprite king's altar. When fighting monsters in a zone that has an altar, you will often find lost powers. Delivering these to the altar will grant you reputation with that altar. Items sold at the altar require reputation with the specific sprite king. Sprite Messenger Reputation obtained from returning wild sprites to nature is not related to the reputation of the altars.

Sprite Battles[]

You also need to purchase a Sprite Stage Invitation from any sprite vendor. Once you've done so, you can go to the Duel Tab and press Join to get in queue for the sprite battle.
Attacks and Defenses[]
The three attacks are displayed on the left and the three defenses on the right. You level up the attacks by using them and the defenses by taking damage from the corresponding attacks.
Once your guardian sprite is in the arena, you can view your opponent's attack and defense levels and win and loss record by clicking the Opponent's Status button.
Match[]
Once a match starts, you choose 8 attacks for the battle. After each player selects their moves, the battle begins. The match plays out like a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors.
The guardian sprite that has the least HP at the end of 8 attacks, or the guardian sprite that reaches 0 HP first loses. As each attack occurs, a symbol appears over the attack chosen: A circle means you've chosen the stronger attack and you deal damage to the enemy. An X means you chose the weak attack and you take damage. A triangle means you've chosen the same attack and both guardian sprites takes damage.
Some Sprite Costumes have a "Game" Bonus. These bonuses apply to the Sprite Battle system.
The winning guardian sprite receives a victory rune. Collect 10 runes and trade them into the Sprite Merchant for a Challenge Winner's Fortune Bag.
